Tridoshic Breakfast or Snack (Great for Vata, Pitta, Kapha)
1 Red Apple
1 Pear
1 tsp Ghee
1 tsp Coconut oil
Pinch of Rock Salt
1/2 tbs dried rose petals
1/4 tsp Turmeric
1/4 tsp Clove
1/4 tsp Cardamom
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1c Water
Optional: 1/4 tsp nutmeg and allspice
Directions:
Wash and peel the apple and pear and cut into cubes.
Add ghee and coconut oil to pan and heat
Add the apple and pear cubes, sauté
Add the spices and mix well
Add the water and heat until fruit is soft
Remove from heat, let it sit to warm then add Honey or Jaggery to taste.
Enjoy this warm delight in the morning or as an earlier in the day snack.

Sweet Potato Breakfast -Great for Vata
1 medium sweet potato
1 tsp Ghee
1 tsp Cinnamon
Honey
Seeds and Nuts for crunch
Directions
Bake the sweet potato until soft. Remove skin then add cinnamon and ghee and mash together. Add honey to taste and seeds and nuts for crunch.

Golden Milk
Known Benefits: Anti-Inflammatory, Improves Brain Function, Supports Digestion, Boosts Immunity, Supports Heart Health, Reduces Stress, Supports Healthy Sleep
Ingredients:
2c of Milk (can substitute with oat milk, coconut milk, goats milk, almond milk)
1 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp cinnamon
A dash of black pepper
1/4 tsp ground ginger (if you are feeling spicy you can use 1/4 inch of fresh ginger, peel and shave into small slices)
Honey or Jaggery to taste to add a little hint of sweetness
1 tsp Ghee or Coconut oil (optional, highly encouraged)
Directions:
Place all ingredients EXCEPT honey, you can place Jaggary if using it as a sweetener, into a blender and blend well.
Pour into saucepan and heat on medium heat for about 3-5 minutes, be sure not to boil it, you want to get it nice and toasty. You may add 1 tsp of Ghee or coconut oil.
Pour into cup, add honey if you are using honey. Stir and enjoy.
